Chennai Super Kings star spinner Ravichandran Ashwin recently stopped a panelist from talking about MS Dhoni during his latest YouTube video. This happened just days after Ashwin had promised not to speak about CSK or their matches on his channel due to a recent controversy around one of his earlier videos.
In the new episode, Ashwin and two panellists were discussing recent IPL 2025 games, but they purposely avoided talking about CSK’s last match against Lucknow Super Giants sticking to Ashwin’s decision to stay silent on CSK topics.
During the chat, one of the panellists brought up the topic of leadership in the IPL and started naming captains like Sanju Samson, Shreyas Iyer, and MS Dhoni as good leaders. But before he could say more, Ashwin quickly interrupted and asked him not to bring up anything related to CSK or Dhoni.
The panellist had said, “I’m so happy that you won the match. Ashwin, the only thing is that you’ve led the team a lot. The team that you’ve led has won the TNPL. What I feel is that leadership is very, very important. That leader is someone like Sanju, someone like Shreyas Iyer, someone like Thala Dhoni,” That’s when Ashwin stepped in and cut him off.

It was a light moment but also a reminder that Ashwin is staying firm on his decision to keep CSK out of his YouTube discussions at least for now.
