At Extreme Rules 2021 PPV, Tribal Chief Roman Reigns battled The Demon Finn Balor in singles match with Universal Championship on line. In a hard hitting match, Roman Reigns defeated Finn Balor in controversial finish.
At the closing moments of the match, The Demon Finn Balor climbed the top rope to deliver his finisher but in a surprising turn of events, the rope broke and Balor fell on the ring mat. Then, Reigns delivered a spear to Balor and pinned him to retain the title.
