The Man Becky Lynch put her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair at WWE Extreme Rules 2021 PPV. In a intense match up, Bianca Belair came close to win the match but The Boss Sasha Banks showed up and attacked both the superstars and match ended in disqualification.
Following that, SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch took the Twitter and shared a tweet stating that it doesn’t matter how she retains the title but win is win. But later, she deleted the tweet.
While it is unknown exactly why Lynch deleted the tweet but it’s speculated that Lynch may be technically incorrect about “winning”. According to the WWE rules and regulations, Sasha Banks first attacked Bianca Belair before going after Lynch and that meant the match ended in a DQ and a victory for Belair, not Becky Lynch. Making her entire point slightly mute.
However, Becky Lynch is still the SmackDown women’s champion after the match ended in disqualification and she doesn’t seem to care how she keeps her championship.
