The 2004’s Royal Rumble was the 17th annual Royal Rumble event and it took on January 25th, 2004 at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Both Raw & Smackdown Superstars participated on the event. Total seven matches took place at the show including one pre-show match.

The main event of the show is 30-man annual Royal Rumble Match and winner of that match will earn World Championship shot at WrestleMania 20. The main title matches are, Brock Lesnar set to defend his WWE Title aganist Hardcore Holly and Triple H set to defend his World Heavyweight Title against Shawn Michaels in Last Man Standing Match.

Other matches are, World Tag Team Championship match between the challengers The Dudley Boyz and Champions Evolution, WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rey Mysterio to defend his title against Jamie Noble and Eddie Guerrero battled Chavo Guerrero in singles match.
