According to recent reports, Stephanie McMahon may make a comeback to WWE if the company is sold, as potential buyers have shown interest in bringing her back.
Stephanie stepped down from her role as Co-CEO and Chairwoman of WWE in January, after her father Vince McMahon returned to the company and took on the role of Executive Chairman of the Board. Last year, the 46-year-old stepped up to manage the company’s backstage responsibilities when Vince was forced to resign due to hush money allegations.
In recent months, the company has been in talks with several potential buyers regarding a possible sale. Among those interested in acquiring the global powerhouse are Disney, Netflix, and FOX, among others.
Fightful Select has reported that some of the potential buyers interested in acquiring WWE are also interested in bringing back Stephanie McMahon if the sale goes through. According to the report, Stephanie is seen as someone who could bring many positives to the company if she returns.
However, talks of a possible sale have cooled down in recent weeks due to the focus on WrestleMania 39. As a result, it remains to be seen how things will unfold regarding the potential sale and Stephanie’s future with the company.
