Following his return to WWE, Karrion Kross has targeted former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre. Both stars faced each other in a Strap match at Extreme Rules, which was ended in controversy after Scarlett interfered and blinded McIntyre, allowing her husband to pin him for the victory.
At WWE Crown Jewel 2022 in Saudi Arabia, The Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross again went face-to-face inside a steel cage and this time Drew McIntyre walked out victorious after climbing out of the steel cage.
According to the Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports, The Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre was “extremely sick” ahead of Crown Jewel premium live event. But McIntyre insisted that he would compete inside the ring.
“The word at tonight’s Crown Jewel PPV is that Drew McIntyre had been extremely sick with the flu over the last several days but gutted through his steel cage match with Karrion Kross despite it. McIntyre was said to be adamant that no matter what, he would make it to the ring and work and was able to do that today,” Johnson reported.
