WWE Superstar Mustafa Ali requested his release from WWE a few weeks back but WWE reportedly not accepting his request of release. Now, we got the new reports regarding a potential reason why company doesn’t want Ali to let go.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, WWE sources used the term “value” as the reason for not accepting Mustafa Ali’s release request and wanted him under contract. It was also reported that he still has well over a year left on his contract although the exact expiry date wasn’t known.

Mustafa Ali’s last WWE appearance inside the squared circle came against Drew McIntyre on an episode of SmackDown in October last year. He also made an appearance at the Crown Jewel event, in which he lost to Mansoor.
