There have been questions regarding the future of Former NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa and Pete Dunne due to many of their fellow stars from the previous era parting ways with WWE. Ciampa have been part of the former black and gold brand since 2015 while Dunne is with the brand from 2017.

According to the reports of PWInsider, Tommaso Ciampa and former NXT UK Champion Pete Dunne are still listed as active members of the NXT 2.0 within WWE. Tommaso Ciampa recently lost his NXT Championship to Bron Breakker at New Year’s Evil event.
Recently, there were many rumors about the Ciampa and Dunne main roster call-ups after the pair worked in dark match against each other before the recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
Pete Dunne and Tommaso Ciampa also wrestled on recent taping of Main Event in singles matches. Dunne battled against Akira Tozawa while Ciampa went face-to-face with T-Bar.
