The current NXT Superstar Ridge Holland recently moved to SmackDown during this year’s WWE Draft, which officially come into effect after Crown Jewel pay-per-view, and it seems that his future on the main roster looks incredibly bright from the recent reports.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that WWE has high hopes on Ridge Holland and some people within the company sees him as future WWE Champion. Meltzer also noted that Austin Theory also grabbed some attention of the WWE management.
“The company does have high hopes for Holland, who some in the company have tabbed as a future WWE champion, as well as Theory, who is young and has a good look. I don’t see it in Holland at this point, as he came across as a generic looking guy with generic moves who has a powerful looking body and is a legit athlete,” revealed Meltzer.
