WWE 1999 Royal Rumble Full Results
The 1999 Royal Rumble pay-per-view took place on January 24th, 1999 at the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim in Anaheim, California with attendance of 14,816. Total of nine matches took place at the event including one dark match and two matches was broadcasted prior to the pay-per-view on Sunday Night Heat.
The main event of the show is 30-man annual Royal Rumble Match, it was centered with intense rivalry between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Vince McMahon and they both entered #1 and #2 to the match.
The WWF Champion Mankind battled The Rock in ‘I Quit’ match with title on line. And WWF Women’s Champion Sable put her title on line aganist Luna Vachon in Strap Match.
Other title matches are, X-Pac vs. Gangrel for WWF European Championship and Ken Shamrock vs. Billy Gunn for WWF Intercontinental Championship.

• Mankind defeated Mabel by disqualification – Singles Match (Broadcasted prior pay-per-view)
• Big Boss Man defeated Road Dogg – Singles Match
• Ken Shamrock (c) defeated Billy Gunn by submission – Singles match for the WWF Intercontinental Championship
• X-Pac (c) defeated Gangrel – Singles match for the WWF European Championship
• Sable (c) defeated Luna Vachon (with Shane McMahon) – Strap match for the WWF Women’s Championship
• The Rock defeated Mankind (c) – “I Quit” match for the WWF Championship
• Vince McMahon won the Royal Rumble Match by last eliminating Stone Cold Steve Austin and earned WWF Championship opportunity at WrestleMania XV
