In a recent interview with Complex Graps, the ‘Jade Cargill Era’ took a trip down memory lane as the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) star reminisced about her time in the promotion, discussing the wrestlers who influenced her style and the ones who inadvertently changed it.
AEW Legacy and the Wrestlers Who Shaped Her
Jade Cargill’s rise to fame in AEW began in 2021, where she quickly became a fan favorite. With her impressive athleticism and charismatic personality, Cargill managed to stand out in the competitive women’s division. When asked about the wrestlers who influenced her style, she revealed that the late wrestler, Michin, had a significant impact on her in-ring approach.
“I think Michin was someone who, if I’m being honest, I really admired and I think she was a huge influence on me,” Jade Cargill said. “Her style, her fire, her passion – all of those things really resonated with me, and I think that’s something that has stayed with me to this day.”
However, it wasn’t just Michin who left a lasting impression on Cargill. The AEW wrestler also mentioned that Red Velvet had a significant impact on her, particularly in terms of their in-ring chemistry.
“Red Velvet was someone who, when we first started working together, it was like we had this instant connection,” Cargill explained. “We just clicked, and I think that’s because we were both so passionate about what we did, and we both had this fire inside of us that I think really translated into the ring.”
The Wrestlers Who Changed Her Style
While Michin and Red Velvet had a significant influence on Jade Cargill’s style, there were also wrestlers who inadvertently changed her approach to the ring. Cargill revealed that wrestler, Leyla Hirsch, was one such person who altered her style.
“Leyla Hirsch was someone who, when we first started working together, I was doing things a certain way, and she kind of changed my style for me,” Cargill said. “She was so fast and so quick, and I think she pushed me to be more aggressive and to take more risks in the ring, which I think has really helped me to grow as a wrestler.”
Another wrestler who changed Jade Cargill’s style was Nyla Rose. Cargill explained that Rose’s dominance in the ring forced her to adapt and become more aggressive in her matches.
“Nyla Rose was someone who, when we first started working together, she was just so dominant,” Cargill said. “She was so strong and so powerful, and I think she really pushed me to be more aggressive and to take more risks in the ring. I think that’s something that has really helped me to grow as a wrestler.”
The ‘Jade Cargill Era’ Moves to WWE
With her AEW legacy cemented, Jade Cargill has made the move to WWE, where she is set to make a significant impact in the women’s division. According to a WWE insider, Cargill’s signing was a major coup for the promotion.
“Jade Cargill is a game-changer for WWE,” the insider revealed. “She’s got the talent, the charisma, and the dedication to be a top star in the women’s division. We’re excited to have her on board and to see what she can do.”
As Jade Cargill looks to start a new chapter in her wrestling career, it’s clear that her time in AEW has prepared her well for the challenges ahead. With her impressive athleticism, charismatic personality, and dedication to her craft, Cargill is set to make a significant impact in WWE.
In the words of Jade Cargill herself, “I’m excited to see what the future holds, and I’m ready to take on whatever challenges come my way. I’m a wrestler, and that’s what I do – I put on a show and I give the people what they want. I’m ready to do just that in WWE.”
