In a recent interview, WWE Superstar Seth Rollins opened up about his relationship with fellow injured wrestler Kevin Owens and hinted at a possible reunion for the two men once they’re both back in action.
A Lasting Bond Between Fellow Competitors
During the conversation, Rollins spoke about the close bond he’s formed with Owens over the years. Despite being part of different factions and having had their fair share of in-ring rivalries, the two men have always maintained a level of respect for one another.
“We’ve been fortunate enough to have had some amazing moments in the ring together, and I think that’s what’s really brought us closer,” Rollins explained. “We’ve been through the ups and downs of this business, and at the end of the day, we’re all just trying to put on the best show possible for the fans. Kevin’s a great guy, and I’m looking forward to getting back out there and doing some more stuff with him.”
A Potential Tag Team Reunion in the Works?
While Rollins didn’t confirm any specific plans for a reunion, he did reveal that Owens has expressed interest in teaming up with him when they both return to the ring.
“Kevin’s actually been in touch with me lately, and he’s mentioned the possibility of us teaming up again,” Rollins said with a smile. “I think that’s something that could be really special, and I’m definitely down for it. We’ve got some unfinished business to take care of, and I think we could make some magic happen in the ring together.”
Sources close to the matter have also hinted that Owens is eager to get back to his tag team roots, and teaming up with Rollins could be just the opportunity he needs.
“Kevin’s been itching to get back to the tag team scene, and Seth’s a great guy to team with,” an insider revealed. “Their chemistry in the ring is undeniable, and I think they could be a force to be reckoned with if they decide to pursue a tag team reunion.”
The Road to Recovery: A Long and Winding One
While Rollins and Owens are both on the mend, their respective recovery processes have been anything but smooth sailing. Rollins has been dealing with a string of injuries over the past year, including a serious knee injury that forced him to undergo surgery.
“It’s been a tough road, but I’m feeling better than I have in a long time,” Rollins admitted. “It’s funny, when you’re in the midst of all this, you start to lose track of time and forget what it’s like to be 100% healthy. But I’m grateful to be where I am now, and I’m looking forward to getting back out there and competing at a high level.”
Owens, on the other hand, has been dealing with a series of setbacks, including a recent injury that forced him to miss several weeks of wrestling.
“I’ve been dealing with a lot of frustration, to be honest,” Owens said in a recent interview. “It’s hard to sit on the sidelines and watch your colleagues succeed when you’re not feeling 100% yourself. But I’m taking it one day at a time, and I’m grateful to be getting back to work.”
A New Chapter for WWE’s Powerhouse Duo
While the details of Rollins and Owens’ potential tag team reunion are still unclear, one thing’s for sure: when they do finally return to the ring, it’ll be a moment that WWE fans have been eagerly anticipating for months.
As Rollins so aptly put it, “When Kevin and I do get back out there, it’s going to be like no time has passed at all. We’ll pick up right where we left off, and I think the fans are going to love it.”
Only time will tell if this potential reunion will come to fruition, but one thing’s for sure: the WWE universe is eagerly awaiting the return of two of its most beloved competitors.
