• Logan Paul address his controversial win at WWE Royal Rumble 2024.
• Bayley will choose her WrestleMaina 40 opponent.
WWE Friday Night SmackDown Results:
– WWE United States Champion Logan Paul opens tonight WWE SmackDown and talks about his controversial victory at WWE Royal Rumble 2024. Kevin Owens interrupts and demands a rematch. Logan Paul denies it and says he’s looking for other challengers than Kevin Owens.
– Kevin Owens defeated Austin Theory via pinfall.
– Naomi signs SmackDown contract and celebrating with other superstars. Tiffany Stratton interrupts, she also officially joined the blue brand. Stratton wants to know where her celebration is. She’s willing to fight the best competition and gets right up in Bianca Belair’s grill. Stratton slaps Mia Yim in the face. Mia tells Nick Aldis that she wants to stand on business tonight.
– Bianca Belair was chat with Nick Aldis but Logan Paul interrupts. Paul says he is tired of being called a part timer and he wants competition. Belair says she has no time for Paul being rude. Paul tells Aldis that he needs to make sure his top stars are treated like top stars. He won’t take this attitude from Belair. He congratulates Belair on the new reality show and says that he’s a big fan of her husband.
– Legado Del Fantasma Vignette.
– Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate defeated Pretty Deadly, Legado Del Fantasma w/Elektra Lopez and The LWO w/Zelina Vega in a Fatal Four Way Tag Team Championship Qualifying Match.
– Damage CTRL (Bayley, IYO SKY, Asuka and Kairi Sane) make their way to the ring. Bayley talks about her title defenses at WrestleMaina and how Damage CTRL came top in WWE. But IYO SKY, Asuka and Kairi Sane interrupted laughing. Bayley is sick of it and starts asking why they are all doing this to her. Suddenly, Asuka and Kairi Sane attack Bayley from behind. Bayley got a steel pipe near steps and counter-attacked them. Bayley then announces that she will see IYO SKY at WrestleMaina 40.
– Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits vs. The Final Testament (w/Scarlett Bordeaux & Paul Ellering) match ended in no contest after both teams brawled inside the ring. B-Fab also appeared to help Bobby Lashley and attacked Scarlett Bordeaux.
– Nick Aldis making negotiations with Bron Breakker but Adam Pearce interrupts. Bron tells Pearce that he will see him on Raw this Monday. Jade Cargill walks into the office and ask if it’s a good time to talk. Aldis tells Pearce to leave.
– Tiffany Stratton defeated Mia Yim via pinfall.
– The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso make their way to the ring with Paul Heyman. Roman Reigns talks about Seth Rollins comments about him and his title on WWE Raw. He then talks about 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes. But Cody Rhodes interrupts. Cody Rhodes says that he will be definitely coming for Roman Reigns but not at upcoming WrestleMaina 40. Cody continues that he took counsel regarding that from an individual that Roman Reigns knows very well. The music interrupts and here comes The People’s Champ The Rock. Cody Rhodes left the ring. The Rock and Roman Reigns come face-to-face and Friday Night SmackDown goes off air.
