Tonight’s WWE Monday Night Raw is live from The Spectrum Center, Charlotte, North Carolina. It’s WWE Payback 2023 post addition of Raw and WWE announced few matches and segments for the show.
WWE Monday Night Raw Results
– Tonight’s WWE Raw opened with newest Raw member ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso. He talked about his feud with The Bloodline and how Cody Rhodes helped him to move to red brand. Then, he was interrupted by former Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion Sami Zayn.
Sami Zayn told that he’s happy to see Jey here but there’s a lot of people in that locker room that are going to have a problem with you being here including Kevin Owens.That’s all apart, Sami says he’s happy for Jey got free from The Bloodline and coming to Raw. He offered handshake to Jey but refused by Jey.
Sami says he respect Jey and tried to leave the ring. But Jey stops Sami and says that wasn’t very ucey of him. Jey and Sami start hugging each other to close the segment.
– We see the recap of Shinsuke Nakamura attacking Seth Rollins after WWE Payback went off the air. Nakamura says that he broke Rollins, like he broke the code they shared in the ring. Nakamura may have underestimated Rollins, but he was the last one standing on the battlefield. He’s the reason why Rollins will lose his grip and he will prevail. Nakamura proclaims that he’ll become the World Heavyweight Champion.
– Adam Pearce stops Seth Rollins in the backstage area. Rollins says that he’s fine despite recommendations from the medical team. Ricochet says that he’s willing to help out, but Rollins is having none of that.
– The Viking Raiders w/Valhalla defeated Drew McIntyre & Matt Riddle In A Tornado Tag Team Match.
– WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring. Seth Rollins talks about his match against Shinsuke Nakamura at WWE Payback and how he retained. He went on about how Nakamura attacked him after the Payback went off air and called him out here.
Shinsuke Nakamura came out to the stage. Then, Seth Rollins tells him to get into the ring but Nakamura didn’t. Seth Rollins then offered WWE World Heavyweight Championship rematch right now but Nakamura said no. Seth then rushes towards Nakamura and both started brawl on the stage.
Producers and security came out to separate both men. Nakamura attacks the injured back of Rollins. Ricochet joins to help but that lead to brawl with Nakamura. Rollins and Adam Pearce are yelling at each other in the gorilla position Pearce is trying to make sure that Rollins doesn’t run himself to ground. Unfortunately, that doesn’t work for Rollins.
– Ricochet defeated Shinsuke Nakamura via disqualification after Nakamura attacking Ricochet with steel chair.
– Jackie Redmond had a backstage interview with Zoey Stark. Zoey has a lot of respect for Trish Stratus and what she taught her, but she won’t tolerate disrespect. Shayna Baszler walks in. Zoey has unfinished business with Shayna Baszler and they’ll see who’s the true baddest woman in WWE.
– Chelsea Green tells Adam Pearce that she’s a future Hall of Famer and she won’t stand in line behind sasquatches like Raquel Rodriguez. Piper Niven is not medically cleared. Green is not buying into this notion that the Women’s Tag Team Titles are cursed. Green will face Rodriguez later on tonight
– The Judgment Day (Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor and Damian Priest) makes their way to the ring. Dominik Mysterio talks about how Finn Balor and Damian Priest wins Undisputed Tag Team Titles and Rhea Ripley retained her title at WWE Payback. Finn Balor thanked all Judgment Day members and special shoutout to JD McDonagh. He also thanked me on reaching my most recent career milestone in becoming, Grand Slam Finn.
Now, Rhea Ripley talks about how ups and downs in the Judgment Day from last few weeks and still they over came to show everyone that they are family. She also stated that the focus is not on us and our accomplishments, people are talking about Jey Uso coming to Monday Night Raw and what does that mean for The Bloodline. As far as she concerned, The Bloodline has fallen and The Judgment Day has risen as the most dominant faction in all of WWE.
JD McDonagh interrupts them. Damian Priest says some part of him was starting like to you. JD says Judgment Day has all the gold now but Damian Priest briefcase has to go. Priest doesn’t need that briefcase. All are shocked. Then, JD gifts new purple MITB briefcase to Priest.
Sami Zayn interrupts them. He is on the stage. Zayn was not going to let what happened at Payback slide. He sees five turds in the ring. A very special beating is owed to the man who cost them the match, the biggest turd of them all, Dominik Mysterio. Zayn challenges Dominik to a match. McDonagh is willing to bring the fight to Zayn. Zayn says that McDonagh in due for a major ass kicking.
– GUNTHER says that history will be made tonight and Chad Gable doesn’t belong in the history books. His legacy will last forever and he will go down as the longest reigning and greatest Intercontinental Champion in history.
– Shayna Baszler defeated Zoey Stark via referee stoppage after Zoey fade out for The Kirifuda Clutch.
– Damian Priest is still hesitant about JD McDonagh potentially joining The Judgment Day. Rhea wants to see what he does against Sami Zayn. She tells Dominik to make sure the plan goes through tonight.
– Drew McIntyre is not happy with Kofi Kingston. McIntyre doesn’t believe it’s a coincidence that Kofi interfered in their match.
– Raquel Rodriguez defeated Chelsea Green via pinfall in a quick match.
– Adam Pearce had a backstage conversation with Jey Uso. SmackDown will be receiving trade compensation. Pearce tells Jey to keep his head on a swivel as he already has issues with the Raw locker room. Pearce walks into his office with Tommaso Ciampa.
– The Miz had a special edition of Miz TV with Invisible “John Cena” as his special guest. Miz wants transparency for what happened at Payback. He asks the Charlotte crowd if they can see his special guest? Miz gets into a brawl with Cena and drops him with The Skull Crushing Finale. He proclaims that he’s going to be responsible for the demise of LA Knight and The YEAH! Movement because he is The Miz and he is AWESOME!!!
– JD McDonagh defeated Sami Zayn via pinfall with help of Dominik Mysterio. After the match, Sami Zayn attacked Dominik but JD makes save. Then, Sami took out JD with Helluva Kick while Dominik escapes to backstage.
– Judgment Day at backstage. Dominik Mysterio went to Jey Uso and tries to recruit him. Dominik talks about pain in family issues and how he went through it. He also added he knows about the Jey’s pain and says that Judgment Day is always open to him if he wants.
– GUNTHER defeated Chad Gable via pinfall and successfully retained his WWE Intercontinental Championship.
