The Qualifying matches for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match began on the June 2nd edition of Friday Night SmackDown, with Zelina Vega defeating Lacey Evans to be the first qualified entrant. On the June 5th edition of Monday Night Raw, Becky Lynch and Zoey Stark qualified for the MITB match by defeated Sonya Deville and Natalya, respectively.

On the June 9th edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Damage CTRL’s Bayley and Iyo Sky then qualified by defeating “Michin” Mia Yim and Shotzi, respectively. The last qualifying match occurred on the June 19th edition of Raw, where Trish Stratus defeated Raquel Rodriguez by disqualification with an accidental interference from Lynch.
On Money In The Bank 2023 premium live event, The Genius of Sky IYO SKY outlasted other competitors and climbed the ladder to grab briefcase and became the new Ms. Money In The Bank. At the closing moments of the match, Zelina ega and Zoey Stark fight up top of ladder. Vega nails a huge Code Red onto a ladder bridge down below.
IYO SKY climbs up but Bayley tips the ladder over to boos. Lynch climbs and knocks Bayley off. SKY pulls Lynch off, then Lynch drops SKY. Lynch climbs again but Bayley stops her from the other side and they fight it out. SKY comes over and uses the handcuff on Lynch to cuff both Lynch and Bayley to the ladder. Fans cheer as SKY climbs up Bayley’s back to retrieve the briefcase for the win.
