The Money in the Bank 2011 was the second annual Money in the Bank pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by WWE. It took place on July 17th, 2011, at the Allstate Arena in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois. This event included two Money in the Bank ladder matches, one for WWE Monday Night Raw and other for WWE Friday Night SmackDown. Total Seven matches took place at this event including one dark match.

– Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov defeated The New Nexus (David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty) in Tag team match
– Daniel Bryan defeated Cody Rhodes, Heath Slater, Justin Gabriel, Kane, Sin Cara, Sheamus, and Wade Barrett to win SmackDown Money in the Bank ladder match for a World Heavyweight Championship contract
– Kelly Kelly (c) (with Eve Torres) defeated Brie Bella (with Nikki Bella) via pinfall in singles match and successfully retained her WWE Divas Championship
– Mark Henry defeated Big Show via pinfall in singles match
– Alberto Del Rio defeated Alex Riley, Evan Bourne, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston, The Miz, R-Truth, and Rey Mysterio to win Raw Money in the Bank ladder match for a WWE Championship contract
– Christian defeated Randy Orton (c) via disqualification and became the new World Heavyweight Championship. Since Orton was disqualified, he lost the title.
– CM Punk defeated John Cena (c) via pinfall in singles match and became the new WWE Championship. Since Cena lost the title, he was fired.
