Sasha Banks Reportedly Unwilling To Renew WWE Contract
There were many reports about The Boss Sasha Banks’ future and whether or not she will return to WWE. Sasha Banks is allegedly a free agent at the moment, but can’t do anything wrestling related until 2023. She is slated to appear at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 in January 2023.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that The Boss Sasha Banks asking price is something that WWE isn’t willing to concede to at this point. Sasha Banks wanted to be paid as much as Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. It was also noted that there is a chance that Banks might return to WWE in the future if the company decides to match her salary expectations.
”She was said to be seeking a number along the levels of Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair and those internally have said she wasn’t offered numbers close to that. They said that she’s not seen internally as somebody who would be on top for the next five years.”

”Long-term, I think at some point she’s going back to WWE if they can work out the money details, or going to AEW if they make her a better offer unless she hits it big outside of wrestling,” stated Meltzer.

Kairi Sane Could Appear On Upcoming WWE Women’s Royal Rumble Match
On the recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that there have been speculations within WWE that the forbidden door might be opened. KAIRI (formerly known as Kairi Sane in WWE), will take part in the Women’s Royal Rumble match.
“An interesting part of that story is that it had been rumored KAIRI would be in this year’s Royal Rumble, but those rumors were prior to the decision changing with her getting the IWGP women’s title, which could change the dynamic,” Meltzer wrote.
KAIRI became the inaugural IWGP Women’s Championship at the NJPW x STARDOM Historic X-Over event in November. Currently, she is set to defend her IWGP Women’s Championship against Tam Nakano at Wrestle Kingdom 17.
