WWE Plans For Roman Reigns At WrestleMania 39

The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns became the double champion at WrestleMania 38. He defeated Brock Lesnar at the Shows of the Show and became The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Since then, Roman Reigns defending his both titles against the challengers. Now, it seems WWE planning to separate the titles ahead of WrestleMania 39.

According to the WrestlingNews.co reports, sources told them that The Rock is still not confirmed for WrestleMania 39, so, the current plan is if The Rock can’t do the show then Cody Rhodes will challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship. WWE wants to get The Rock committed before the Royal Rumble because that is when things will get set in motion for WrestleMania.
As per the WrestlingNews.co, current plan for the main event matches for WrestleMania are:
Night 1
WWE Championship
Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre or Cody Rhodes
Night 2
Roman Reigns vs. TBD. If The Rock can’t do the show then the plan is for Cody Rhodes to take the spot
Drew McIntyre Wants To Dethrone Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns
The former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre recently had an interview with Sony Sports Network’s Namaste Drew show during his trip to India. While Speaking, DrewMcIntyre spoke about The Bloodline leader Roman Reigns time as a top babyface. 
“There he is, my arch-nemesis, my kryptonite — Roman Reigns. You used to be cool. You used to be a hero to lots of people.”
The Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre and Tribal Chief Roman Reigns went one-on-one for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship ay WWE Clash at the Castle in September 2022. The McIntyre came up short due to interference from Bloodline member Solo Sikoa.
During the same interview, The Scottish Warrior also insulted his Clash at the Castle opponent and a sent the following message to Roman Reigns.
“Clash at the Castle, I should have beat you there. I’m gonna beat you soon,” stated McIntyre.
