The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes was pushed to become a top superstar under Vince McMahon. He returned to WWE at WrestleMania and got the huge victory over Seth Rollins and went on to beat Rollins two more times. However, he suffered torn pectoral muscle and has been out of action. 

Now, Triple H took over as the head of creative after Vince McMahon announced his retirement and there was speculation on what the future might hold for Cody Rhodes with Triple H in charge.

According to the Andrew Zarian of Mat Men reports, that the former Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes is still set for a push when he returns. He also stated that there are ‘a lot of plans’ for Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39 and he’s is expected to return around Royal Rumble next year. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer stated that there are no issues during Rhodes’ ongoing rehab.
