WWE WrestleMania 38 Night One Results: Cody Rhodes Returns And Picks Up Huge Win Against Seth Rollins

For the weeks, The Visionary Seth Rollins tried to get a spot at WrestleMania 38. Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins challenged Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro for the titles but they failed. Then, Seth challenged Kevin Owens to get Stone Cold Steve Austin as his guest for the his show but he failed to win.

Then, Seth Rollins also challenged AJ Styles with the winner will face Edge at the Shows of Show but he failed that too. Later, WWE Boss Vince McMahon called Rollins to his office and stated that Rollins will be going to WrestleMania with the opponent of Vince McMahon choosen.

Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring and waiting for his opponent. Then, music hits, here comes returning Cody Rhodes to WWE after six years. In a hard-hitting contest between the both superstars, Cody Rhodes came top and picks up the victory against Seth Rollins.

At the closing moments, Seth Rollins kicks Cody Rhodes in the injured ribs and grabs his head, yells about this being his company and his industry. Rollins with big kicks and a roaring elbow. Cody is stunned now. Rollins drops him with a forearm to the back of the head but suddenly, Cody nails a CrossRhodes.

Cody holds onto Rollins and hits a second straight CrossRhodes. He holds that and brings Rollins to the middle of the ring for his father’s signature right hands, then the Bionic Elbow to drop Rollins. Cody with another CrossRhodes in the middle of the ring and pinned Rollins for the victory.
