Recently, there were many reports surrounded around the internet that The Texas Rattlesnake Stone Cold Steve Austin will come out of retirement to wrestle a match at WrestleMania 38 and former Universal Champion Kevin Owens as his possible opponent.
Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio reported that WWE has huge plans for WrestleMania 38 as they have one more surprise in store apart from Steve Austin’s potential in-ring return. He also further stated that the star in question would be of Austin’s stature.

Meltzer also added that The Rock is busy during WrestleMania event, while 16-time World Champion John Cena reportedly has other commitments. Then, he speculated that it might be Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, or The Undertaker as they are the only ones at the level of Austin, but he wasn’t entirely sure.
