The All Mighty Bobby Lashley won the WWE Championship at Royal Rumble event by defeating The Beast Brock Lesnar with the help of Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman. It’s one of the biggest win in his career and now, there is some speculations started about his WrestleMania opponent.
Recently, there were rumors surrounded that Shane McMahon will be the Lashley’s opponent for WrestleMania but it’s not true. Ringside News reported that WWE did consider having Shane McMahon vs. Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania before the Day 1 show. But WWE nixed the idea later and began working on a different creative plan for WWE Title match.
“A rumor is gaining steam that Shane McMahon might battle Lashley at WrestleMania. We were told this is not the current plan, but “this was an idea floated around before Day 1.” However, “after Day 1, this idea was switched to something else,” reported RSN.
Currently, Bobby Lashley set to defend his WWE Title against Seth Rollins, Austin Theory, Riddle, AJ Styles and Brock Lesnar inside Elimination Chamber in Saudi Arabia.
