The three time NXT Champion Samoa Joe once again released by the WWE within the nine months of rehiring him. Now, got some backstage details about Samoa Joe’s WWE release.

According to the reports of Fightful Select, the news of Samoa Joe’s release were made aware of WWE talent and the staff a day before his release on the internal talent relations app. Few other prominent names of Triple H’s NXT era were released also released including Road Dogg and William Regal. 
These releases were reportedly have left many talents shaken. It was also more clear that almost everyone released was close to The Game. Fightful Select report reiterates that Samoa Joe’s release was “a further dismantling of the 2013-2021 vision of NXT and what Triple H had built.”
And more surprising detail disclosed that the released names, including Samoa Joe, Timothy Thatcher, and Danny Burch, were all considered in-ring performers. Samoa Joe was spotted scouting talent for WWE in recent tryouts alongside William Regal.

Fightful Select report also states that the performance center staff indicated that there was only very little about talk about the Samoa Joe in-ring after he relinquished the NXT title.
But the Backstage belief is that he will return to in-ring competition outside of WWE after his release. It was also noted that multiple promotions already shown interest for booking Joe’s in-ring return.
