WWE Summer Slam 2021 ended with a big surprise as The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar returned back to the company after 16 months.
On main event of Summer Slam, we have seen Universal Champion Roman Reigns and John Cena battled with the title on line. In a hard-hitting battle, Roman Reigns successfully retained his Universal Championship by defeating John Cena. Following the match, former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar came out and had a stare down with Tribal Chief.

Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Wrestling Podcast hinted that Brock Lesnar’s WWE return was answer to the CM Punk’s AEW Rampage debut on the previous night. Wrestling community have been talking about the CM Punk’s AEW debut and Lesnar return at Summer Slam was a pretty good counter from WWE for all that hype.

Ever since Roman Reigns returned at last year’s Summer Slam, he has been working as top heel of the company and aligned with Paul Heyman. With Brock Lesnar’s return, it will be interesting to see the situation of Paul Heyman in the coming days.
