There were lot of reports suggesting that The Rock will return to WWE and will have a most anticipated match against the Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WrestleMania event.
Recently, it was reported that WWE is planning to bring back The Rock for this year’s Survivor Series. It was also expected that this appearance could kickstart his feud with Tribal Chief Roman Reigns that lead to match between them at WrestleMania event.
Now, WrestlingNews reported that WWE is hoping that The Rock could wrestle at Survivor Series 2021. It was his 25th anniversary since his debut and WWE don’t want just an appearance but they want to work him in a match.
WrestlingNews.co was told that there was some hope that The Rock would actually wrestle at Survivor Series. The reason why WWE wants The Rock on that show is to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his debut. The Rock debuted in a traditional Survivor Series match in 1996.
The Rock last wrestled a match at WrestleMania 32, in which he defeated Eric Rowan in record six seconds. His last appearance in WWE came in 2019 on Smackdown 20th anniversary, in which he had segment with Becky Lynch and that ended with The Rock and Lynch attacking Baron Corbin.
