WWE SETTING THE STAGE FOR THE UNDERTAKER’S NEXT MATCH
The Undertaker wrestled AJ Styles in a Boneyard Match at WrestleMania. This was a big cinematic match that some fans consider a masterpiece. It still might not be the way The Undertaker wanted to go out.
The Last Ride docuseries follows The Undertaker’s last three years in WWE. We will have to see if he returns, but it appears that the company is setting the stage for his next match already.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that it appears AJ Styles and The Undertaker’s storyline is continuing. The two are set to have a match “way down the line” as it would seem.
Styles was spooked by The Undertaker during the Money In The Bank ladder match. The Phenomenal One did not appreciate being locked in a Phenom themed room in WWE Headquarters.
AJ Styles seemed to really enjoy watching The Last Ride special. He set himself up with popcorn to enjoy the show. Then he was furious and kicked the table to give an indication that there is still heat between the two top WWE Superstars.
