REY MYSTERIO INJURY STATUS ‘CRITICAL’ FOLLOWING SETH ROLLINS’ ATTACK ON WWE RAW
Rey Mysterio ended WWE Raw this week in the trainers’ room getting his eye looked at. The Monday Night Messiah jammed his eye in the sharp corner of the steel ring steps in a heinous move that left Mr. 6-1-9 blinded.
WWE has an update on Rey Mysterio’s injury. He is still listed as “critical” following the brutal attack from Becky Lynch’s baby daddy.
Rey Mysterio’s injury status is still listed as critical. Doctors cannot properly assess the damage to his retina until the swelling subsides, as Rey is currently at-risk for infection.
We will have to see how this storyline develops. It could be a way to get Rey Mysterio off WWE television. Odds are Mysterio will be looking for retribution whenever he does finally make a return.
