The former NXT Champion Samoa Joe recently had an interview with Helen Yee and discussed about several topics. While speaking, Joe was asked about the possibility of Roman Reigns vs. John Cena match at WWE Summer Slam 2021.
Then, Samoa Joe stated that John Cena publicly expressed his interest to back in WWE but it always depend on his busy schedule. He also talked about how Cena can shake up the things by returning to the scene.
“I know John has expressed publicly that he is ready to step back into the ring and apply his trade but you know, John’s always a threat out there. You know what I mean? Depends on how busy he is, sometimes he’ll come back in and want to shake everything up. It’s a tough call man, if you were to ask me to predict the mind of John Cena, I couldn’t do it.”
Recently, there were many rumors suggesting that John Cena might be returning to WWE and will be facing Universal Champion Roman Reigns for the title at WWE Summer Slam 2021. Currently, Roman Reigns set to defend his Universal Title against Edge at Money In The Bank 2021 pay-per-view.
