Zelina Vega made a surprise return to WWE on recent edition of Friday Night Smackdown and also WWE inserted her into Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match from blue brand.
After her return, Vega cuts a promo about Money In The Bank Ladder Match and possibly cash-in on the women’s champion of her choosen. However, she was interrupted by Liv Morgan and that led to match between them, which was lost by Zelina Vega. That surprised a lot of fans as well but there’s a reason for Vega’s loss.

PWInsider noted that Zelina Vega’s loss falls in line with standard pro wrestling booking as she was heel in blue brand. Zelina Vega was listed as ‘Smackdown Heel’ in internal roster and that role stand to lose and will give more motivation to superstar.
As far as cutting Vega’s throat off, they announced she’s in Money in the Bank, which is already a stronger push as a wrestler then she had received on the main roster.
PW Insider also noted that “they plugged [Vega] into the Liv Morgan storyline.”
From the past couple of weeks, Liv Morgan proving herself of get the spot in Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match and Sonya Deville keeps looking over Morgan’s performance. Now, WWE involved Zelina Vega into Liv Morgan’s storyline and a loss wouldn’t affect Vega much.
