CM Punk has been out of in-ring action around seven years but recent reports suggest that Punk is in talks to return to pro wrestling and fans are very excited with this news.
Fightful Select reported that CM Punk had been in talks with All Elite Wrestling about his in-ring return. But there is no conclusive proof about Punk will be signing with AEW, while some speculates that he may be back to WWE instead.
Now, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that internal belief in WWE that CM Punk has already signed with AEW. It was also noted that there were lot of things going behind the scenes but nobody in AEW confirmed and also there is high chance that Punk is AEW bound as he didn’t denied this rumors.
“With Punk, a WWE source has said that internally the belief is that Punk has signed with AEW. There are a number of things going on behind-the-scenes that would indicate that, but nobody in AEW has confirmed it, and of course, they won’t until the decision is made for them to go public with something of that magnitude,” noted Meltzer.
