WWE announced that Summer Slam going to take place for the first time on Saturday on August 21st, 2021 at Allegiant Stadium in the Las Vegas suburb of Paradise, Nevada infront of live fans. Recently, Stephanie McMahon stated that there will be a lot of surprises at Summer Slam 2021.
It was reported that WWE Summer Slam 2021will he hosted by Cardi B and also rumored of returning major names. There is strong discussions that 16-time World Champion John Cena will be returning to face Roman Reigns for Universal Championship at the biggest party of summer.
According to the PWInsider, WWE is considering upcoming Summer Slam 2021 event as “all hands in deck” show. This could witness a many returns including former WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.
With Summerslam coming up, as we’ve mentioned, it’s being considered an “all hands on deck” show and certainly Lynch’s return would be a great attraction for the show on a year where it may be considered even bigger than WrestleMania due to the timing of the country opening up as we get to what is hopefully the latter end of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Becky Lynch was last seen at Money In The Bank fallout episode of Monday Night Raw, in which she handed her Raw Women’s Championship to Money In The Bank winner Asuka. Recently, it was reported that Becky Lynch spotted at WWE Performance Center and participated in live match.
