WWE NXT Full Results (June 15th, 2021)

WWE announced that Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher will face Grizzled Young Veterans in Tornado Tag Team Match on tonight’s show.

WWE also announced that NXT Cruiserweight Champion Kushida will issue a open challenge for the title tonight. And we will also see the what change NXT General Manager William Regal looking to bring tonight on show.

WWE also announced that there will be the coronation of new Million Dollar Champion LA Knight, Io Shirai will address the WWE Universe, Raquel Gonzalez & Dakota Kai vs. Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter and Imperium vs. Breezango.

– NXT General Manager William Regal opened the show and addressed the WWE Universe. He stated that he tried his best to run the show to give fans what they deserved, he was bit emotional. But with the recent chaos in NXT, Regal thinks he can’t give what fans deserves anymore and it’s finally…but music hits, here comes NXT Champion Karrion Kross along with Scarlett.

Karrion Kross enters the ring and taunted William Regal saying that Regal is completely pathetic. Kross demanded him to admit that Regal loss his control over the NXT but music interrupts, here comes the Samoa Joe. He enters the ring and stares at NXT Champion Karrion Kross.

William Regal wants to talk with Samoa Joe and offered him to take over his role as General Manager but Joe replied – Absolutely no. Joe talked about how Regal took the NXT to international phenomenon and it will be a big shoes to fill. Then, Joe says that he can’t accept this job but he can make sure Regal receives respect he deserved from everyone in NXT.

William Regal says it’s an interesting idea but he had two important points to mention. Number one, Joe can’t be a competitor. Number two,he can’t lay a hand on anyone… unless provoked. Joe says he accepts Regal’s offer and he had one question to be answered. He went face-to-face with Kross and asked why he’s still in the ring. Joe says “Tick Tock, Young Champion” to Kross and Kross left to backstage with Scarlett.

– Breezango defeated Imperium via Pinfall. After the match, Imperium attacked Breezango and laid Imperium flag over them.

– At Backstage, Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly fighting and NXT General Manager William Regal walks up. He says we will settle the things in Unsanctioned Match at Great American Bash and next week they can pick their opponents but they still brawling. Samoa Joe shows up and tries to seperate them but he gets hit by Adam Cole. Angry Joe choked out Adam Cole and yells about listening. He says when Cole wakes, tell him that Mr.Regal needs an answer.

– Santos Escobar cuts promo about NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed and warns champ that he’s coming for one-on-one match and will take title from him.

– Kushida defeated Trey Baxter via submission and successfully retained his NXT Cruiserweight Championship. After the match, Kushida celebrates and shakes hand with Baxter. Kyle O’Reilly appeares and applauds Kushida and says he isn’t here to accept Kushida’s challenge but he had his own. Kyle O’Reilly challenges him for a match next week and Kushida accepts.

– McKenzie Mitchell at backstage with Franky Monet and she talks about her debut match win against Cora Jade. She stops Aaliyah and Jessi Kamea stated that how they could’ve won the Takeover dark match against Sarray and Zoey Stark if it wasn’t for Robert Stone. She also mentioned that they didn’t win much since joining Robert Stone brand. Robert Stone came out of the room. Monet changes her tune and says Kamea and Aliyah would do better if they’d listen to Stone and walks off. Stone had some praise to Franky Monet and says great minds think alike.

– Mercedes Martinez at Backstage seeing her match against Xia Li at NXT Takeover: In Your House show. Then, she cuts promo about Xia Li, Boa and Tian Sha.

– WWE Hall Of Famer Ted DiBiase in the ring and says he’s finally found the man worthy of being next Million Dollar Champion. Tylor introduced LA Knight and he makes his way to the ring. LA Knight about how Ted DeBiase words give him confidence and make him to achieve this success. Now, standing with Ted DeBiase and belt right now makes him all worth it.

Knight talks about how Ted DeBiase is his hero, watching him wrestling when he was kid and tonight ne needed Ted DeBiase to express his gratitude and appreciation. They shake hands. Knight says tonight is the greatest moment of his career and says he would be honored if Ted DeBiase official crown him as Million Dollar Champion. Then, Ted presented him Million Dollar Belt and they both does the Ted DeBiase signature laugh.

Knight says he have learned so much about from Ted DeBiase from past few weeks. Knight says he has everything he wants and it’s time to drop what he doesn’t need. He turns on Ted DeBiase and hit a right hand and tosses him to podium. Knight taunts Ted DeBiase and says he’s only the ture Million Dollar champion.

Cameron Grimes rushes towards ring and attacked Knight. He unloads on Knight and knocks him out of ring. Grimes checks on Ted and says Knight had crossed the line and now, he’s going to pay.

– McKenzie Mitchell at backstage with NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai. They sent a warning to NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae.

– At Backstage, Ember Moon and Shotzi BlackHeart yelling at Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai while heading to the ring. NXT General Manager William Regal, Samoa Joe and security are in between them.

– Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai defeated Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter via Pinfall.

– We got the video of Ever-Rise watching replay of Hit Row destroying their mini house during the In Your House show and they sent a warning to Hit Row.

– Io Shirai in the ring and announces that she back and speaks in Japanese. Io Shirai says her next target is….but music interrupts, here comes the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Candice LeRae. She says a lot has changed since Shirai was gone. Candice says she’s no longer uncrowned champion and Shirai is no longer undefeated champion.

LeRae says Shirai has to earn opportunities now. LeRae says there something that hasn’t changed – she still can’t stand Shirai and unfortunately for Shirai, she picked the wrong time to screw with LeRae. Suddenly from behind Indi Hartwell attacked Io Shirai and Candice also joined Indi. But Shirai fought back but the champs gain control. Then, Zoey Stark came to help Shirai and they both took out Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell.

– McKenzie Mitchell at backstage with William Regal and Samoa Joe and ask about how was tonight. Regal starts talking but Johnny Gargano appeares with Austin Theory with “Joe Joe” chant. Johnny says he’s happy Joe is back and that’s what NXT needs. Johnny talks about recent issues with Joe but Joe says get out. Then, Pete Dunne appeares and stares at Samoa Joe, Regal says to clam down.

– Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher defeated Grizzled Young Veterans via submission. After the match, Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher celebrated in the ring.

We go to parking lot and McKenzie Mitchell with William Regal and Samoa Joe. Regal says things will be little different around here now. Joe smiles and says this will be one night of many. Regal agrees and Joe walks off. Regal gets into his SUV and drives aways and NXT goes off air.
