Usually, Hell In A Cell PPV will take place in October but WWE made a big shift to the pay-per-views. It was also reported that Money In the Bank will take in July infront of live fans. There is a reason for why WWE made this call of switching events.
According to the Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, Money In The Bank PPV is considerably WWE’s fourth or fifth biggest event and they might saving it for the live fans, so it won’t upset their schedule.
“I guess the mentality would be that Money In The Bank is the number four or five draw most years […] so, I think that the mentality is that if we got to a show with fans to make sure that the first pay-per-view we do can no upset our schedule and move SummerSlam to July.” (H/T: Ringside News)
